Pair 19th Century Chinese Carved Hardwood Plaques
-
Description
This is a very decorative pair of Chinese carved wood panels that date to the later half of the 19th century. The finely carved Chinese kilins or shi-shis would be great protectors of any space that they inhabited. These panels most probably formed part of a large door with many such panels or elegant windows shutters. Both panels are in overall very good condition and are ready to hang.
