Description
Indian reverse glass painting of a topless concubine of a maharajah heavily laden with jewelry sitting in an upholstered chair holding a glass decanter against the background of a palace window with draperies. The gilded frame is original. These charming and folksy paintings were done by itinerant painters from China in the 19th century. There are two similar paintings available in the same size frames.
