Oil on canvas, in gilt-wood frame.

Extremely fine and realistically painted portrait of an elderly woman, wearing a lavish red paisley shawl holding The Holy Bible and her glasses, wearing a bonnet, seated in a federal style wood chair.

A really "feel good" painting, very calming and pleasant on the eyes.

There is an early illegible affixed label to the verso.

Very good condition, no damages noted. Ready to hang.
