Offered for sale is a spectacular bold-color, highly reflective abstract expressionist painting by Anthony Liggings that can be compared to Rothko. The work is on canvas and signed in the lower right and titled on Verso. The edges are painted as part of the design. The painting comes with a signed copy of the artist's book. Liggins, born in 1965, is a leading figure in the American abstract expressionist resurgence, as well as a prominent African American artist with an international presence.
