Description
This is a light-filled canvas that tells the story of two girls visiting The Louvre and standing in front of the famous painting "Adoration of the Shepherds" by Jusepe di Ribera. (I had to have this painting as it depicts two of my passions--Art and Paris). The painting was created at the end of the 20th c. or beginning of the 21st and is in excellent overall original condition. Other thematically similar painting by Shang Ding are priced considerably higher. This painting could be placed in a multitude of spaces from boudoir to dining room--and would turn every room into a happy, embracing space.
The artist, Shang Ding, is a well-listed Chinese-American artist who is recognized for his post impressionist paintings and use of light. -
