Description
George Benjamin Luks (1867‒1933), Parker House, c. 1925
This collection of seven watercolors by George Luks was recently rediscovered at the law offices of Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy in New York. Harrison Tweed, a member of the firm beginning in 1921, was the artist’s patron and lawyer. The watercolors have remained in the firm’s collection since the 1930s.
