Description
This example of Walbourn’s work shows great attention to the details of daily life found in England’s rural countryside. He also captures the luminous sky at sunset evoking a feeling of serenity. The large format makes this painting equally as desirable.
Ernest Walbourn was known for his figural landscape painting as well as rural genre scenes depicting cottages and farms. -
