Original oil painting on academy board by the American artist, Frederic Louis Thompson. Signed lower left and dated 1887. Condition is very good. Original walnut and gilt Victorian frame of the period. Overall framed measurements are 16.75 by 10.5 inches. Provenance: A Brooklyn, New York collector.

Frederic Louis Thompson was an American artist born in 1868 and died in 1933. He was known for his marine paintings.
