Description
Large Oil on Canvas by Frederick Porter Vinton born in Maine. He opened a portrait studio in Boston in 1878. In 1891 he was elected to the National Academy of Design in New York City. He spent much time painting and studying in Europe and in 1882 he traveled to Spain with Robert Blum and William Merritt Chase. He lived 1846-1911. Unsigned.
