Description
Beautiful and dramatic Kano school painting of a hawk perched on a rock. With flowering cherry, peonies, pine and bamboo. Twig fence on the right is made of heavily oxidized silver and suggests a garden scene. Heavy gold, silver, mineral pigments on mulberry paper with silk brocade border. Excellent condition.
