Edo period (c. 1850) Tosa School painting of a tromp l'oeil view from a balcony through a half rolled down sudare screen. Very fine details and expert painting including a faux silk brocade within the sudare screen. Painted in mineral pigments on gold leaf and mulberry paper. Pair available, sold separately.
