Description
An Oil on Canvas Signed L. Nicolas. A follower of Nicolas Lancret (Paris 1690 - Paris 1743). This wonderfully detailed oil on canvas of mother and child in a solid carved wood frame. A fine copy of an original, in the Louvre. Painted by Elisabeth Vigee-Lebrun in about 1779 depicting her with her daughter, Julie, It's now known as. 'Madame Vigee Lebrun et sa fille Julie'.
Several photographs shot directly from Dr Shawn Garber's home on the Gold Coast of Long Island. Part of an extensive collection seen only in our showroom. 53 inches by 43.5 inches.
