Offered for sale is a mixed media painting on paper by artist Manuel Mendive (born 1944). Painter, performance artist, and sculptor Manuel Mendive draws inspiration from his native Cuba and African oral traditions in his paintings of imaginary anthropomorphic figures in surreal landscapes.
It is nicely displayed under glass in a silver leaf frame. There is a companion painting from this series offered in a separate listing. The painting is signed in the lower center. The painting is wired and ready to hang.
