Mid 19th Century Lincoln Portrait Painting on Glass

Description
A rare 19th century reverse glass painting of President Lincoln. We think it was painted shortly after the Civil War and have seen similar paintings attributed to William Matthew Prior (1806-1873). See “America Folk Portraits” by Rumford, page 178-9.
