A fine estate oil on canvas laid down on board by Olive Parker Black (American 1868-1948) of an Autumn Landscape. 16 1/8 by 24 1/4 unframed. Signed lower left O. P. Black. Provenance Bonhams NY. A fine CT Estate. Bonhams San Francisco.
Olive Parker Black was a 19th century American visual artist who was born in 1868. Numerous works by the artist have been sold at auction, including 'Cattle Crossing a Bridge' sold at Bonhams San Francisco 'California and American Paintings and Sculpture' in 2007 for $16,800. The artist died in 1948. -
