The fist screen depicts various trees and flowers such as a Ginko tree, chrysanthemums, wild grasses and meandering stream in silver leaf. The second depicts various trees and flowers such as a Cherry tree, poppies, water iris, china rose and meandering stream in silver leaf. Both screens are mineral pigments on gold and silver leaf with hand stenciled chrysanthemum designs on back paper.
