Rex Ashlock (1918 - 1999)
Born in Spokane, WA on Aug. 23, 1918. Ashlock moved to San Francisco in 1937 and was a copy boy for Associated Press while studying at the CSFA and UC Berkeley. During 1957-80 he lived in NYC and then returned to San Francisco where he remained until his demise on Dec. 23, 1999. Exh: Calif. WC Society, 1944; San Francisco Art Association. -
