His paintings and sculptures are distinguished by movement and spatial depth, expressed through his unique color statements. Each painting merges the fluidity of overlapping colors to create a striking sense of depth and transformation. Viewed from different perspectives, the works reveal ever-changing nuances, offering multiple visual experiences.Mann’s technique involves applying specially formulated plastic resin paint with a soft knife onto plexiglass or masonite, giving his pieces a dynamic, evolving quality. His work has been featured in numerous solo exhibitions across the country and internationally, including Art Basel Switzerland, Wash Art D.C., and Art Expo New York. His paintings and site-specific installations are held in both private and public collections worldwide.Since 1984, Richard and his wife, Pamela, have enjoyed living in Montecito, California.
