Robert Loughlin painting with initials in the bottom right corner. Float mounted on linen with simple black frame. Loughlin moved to New York City in the 1980s and became part of the flourishing art and social scene. Clients of Loughlin included Andy Warhol, Jean-Michel Basquiat and Robert Mapplethorpe. He was struck and killed by a car in 2011.
