I’m Batman
SANDY COHEN, 2022
Oil, acrylic, charcoal on canvas
60” x 60”
$30,000.00
The juxtaposition of these two beloved icons—Dumbo, the symbol of misunderstood potential, and Batman, the emblem of heroic determination—becomes a powerful metaphor for the boundless creativity and fearlessness of a child's imagination, as well as an adult's determination against seemingly impossible odds. At its heart, this painting captures the purity of youthful wonder, free of limitation. Within the mind of a child, absolutely anything is possible.
"I'm Batman" is a declaration of inner strength, a belief in the ability to become, overcome and achieve whatever one dares to dream. The painting invites viewers to reconnect with that limitless inner world where elephants can fly and anyone-even a gentle misfit—can be a superhero. It is a celebration of freedom, imagination, and the audacity to dream without bounds. -
