BIOGRAPHY - Stefano Bolcato (Born 1967)
Stefano Bolcato lives and works in Rome. He began his training in the '90s at the School of the Ornamental Arts S. Giacomo and the Academy of Fine Arts, studying classical figures, landscapes, still lifes, and interiors.
In 2006 he began using Legos as a theme to reach a broad audience, focusing on social themes like domestic violence, the economic crisis, health and safety on the job, peacekeeping operations, terrorism, and more. From 2014, art history became his inspiration, recreating portraiture artwork from great painters of the past. -
