Description
Framed oil on board by the New Zealand artist Shay Docking (1928-2000) entitled 'The Burnt Paddock'. Signed and dated Shay Docking 61 lower right and titled The Burnt Paddock.
Docking was a landscape painter, most of her work was inspired by the landscape of Victoria and volcanoes of New Zealand. Examples of Dockings work are displayed at the National Gallery of Australia in Canberra, The National Gallery of Victoria and the Art Gallery of New South Wales. -
