$ 3,600
  • Description
    A framed black and white gelatin silver photograph by American surrealist photographer Arthur Tress (1940-). Entitled "Making Leaves", the work was created in 1978. The two intertwine forks on bed invoke a strangely erotic American Gothic feel, a typical style of the artist. The work is editioned 1/25 and it is titled and signed by the artist on the lower margin. The image only is 15.75" W x 15.75" H. Newly framed under museum glass. The black wood frame measures 23" W x 24" H.
    This image was published in the artist's first retrospective monograph: Arthur Tress: Fantastic Voyage. 2001. Plate 73 on page 132.
