Ed's at Rockefeller Center, Sci-Fi Surreal

An unexpected marquee at the base of upscale 30 Rockefeller Center beams neon into the night. The 1930's art deco monolith is lit up like a silver spaceship as it thrusts into an inky jet-black sky populated with stars. This Sci-fi image juxtaposes a commonplace neon sign to a New York icon and ties it to the celestial. It begs the question ... Who's Ed? What's Ed delivering and to who?
