Golden Light on Solitary Figure in Central Park

$ 7,500
  • Description
    Magical golden rays rim light a single figure sitting on a Central Park Bench. He becomes more of a shape than a specific individual and, as such, blends into the light-infused background. To the man's left is the black shape of a tree trunk that acts as a transition point that allows the photographer to double-expose another image of the same place and time onto the same 35mm frame. The result is an original image that draws the viewer's attention and prompts a double-take. Two images are shot simultaneously and seamlessly juxtaposed so it looks like one. The photographer's adherence to rigorous code light and design in color photography is on full display.
