A formal and highly balanced composition based on the random positions of pigeons caught the eye of street photographer Mitchell Funk. Since he always has a Nikon on his person, he acted immediately to capture this perfect and harmonious relationship. Seconds later, new pigeons arrived, jockeyed for space, and the magic relationship disappeared. Funk's street photography has always been a voice for tight design, color, and carefully composed compositions.
