This old Brooklyn street, bathed in dramatic light, is a product of Photographer Mitchell Funk's distinctive photographic vision. From 1969 to the present, it has been characterized by extreme lighting, bold color, and precise composition. The present work is also a time capsule of Brooklyn, devoid of contemporary signage or technology.
