Wherever You Look You See The Chrysler Building: Third Avenue and 38th St

Description
" Wherever You Look You See The Chrysler Building: Third Avenue and 38th St." was photographed looking uptown from the rooftop of a building on Third Avenue and 38th St. In the foreground, Mitchell Funk frames the scene with a graphic arrangement of white chaise lounges set against a black ground. The chaise lounges are reduced to simplified forms, making this part of the composition push towards complete abstraction. The elevated position of the rooftop gives a unique view of midtown, with the Chrysler Building Art Deco spire revealing itself behind a nondescript box-like highrise.
The photograph is Signed dated and numbered 3/15 lower right recto, other sizes available, unframed and printed later This work is printed on fine art Hahnemuhle paper.
