Description
The reality is that this is an eye-witness account of a male peacock displaying for the attention of a female peahen. It turns out that humans are equally attracted to the peacock's charms. Our interests however are strictly aesthetic. To get this intimate peacock portrait, the photographer was 2 feet away and facedown in the dirt to get the slighly upward looking view. Robert Funk is a photographer and New York advertising art director for Print and TV. He was widely published in the 1970s and 1980s. - Signed, dated and numbered 3/15 recto, unframed, other sizes available.
