Description
This Art Deco Period hand-pulled pochoir print depicts two ladies in voluminous gowns, jewels, skull caps and bobbed hair while lounging in a modernist room. One is sitting at a round table while smoking with a cigarette holder, as she displays her ring and earrings and fabric-covered, elongated neck. The other woman is standing in an elegant pose displaying her jewelry and beauty spot, as if waiting for a partner. The women could be at a grand hotel, night club, or casino. The architecture and room decor is streamlined Art Deco. The pochoir technique is sharp and elegant, with muted colors. The pochoir is unsigned. It dates from 1925, France. The sight dimensions are: 8.25"W x 10.5"H; the overall dimensions are listed below.
