This stunningly ethereal Mid-Century Modernist Signed Etching W/Aquatint Dalla suite L'issue dérobée Edition 17/50 signed Joan Miró originates from Spain, C. 1974. A beautiful surrealist abstraction, this etching features a composition of precisely drawn lines traversing the surface at irregular angles and curvatures, intersecting as they create an increasingly dense network of shapes and intersecting points. With a playful sensibility accented by bright hues of yellow and violet aquatint, this piece maintains a mysterious quality. Miró was a pioneer of surrealism and widely considered one of the most original artists of the 20th Century. Fitted with a linen floater in a custom gold leafed gallery frame. Signed by the artist in the lower right hand corner, editioned in the lower left. In Excellent Vintage Condition.
