Size: 16.5 in. x 6 in. x 6 in. (41.91 cm x 15.24 cm x 15.24 cm)
Artist Jacques Lipchitz is credited with taking Cubism to sculpture.
The Harlequin bronze is an iconic example of this, showing multiple views of the figure from each angle with the added dimension of depth that is limited in Cubist paintings. The signature and date are stamped verso on the base. Referenced in the Roman Bronze Works “A Century of American Sculpture” Book. -
