Description
An iconic foot sculpture by celebrated Mexican American surrealist artist Pedro Friedeberg (1936-), circa 1960s. The wood model is of rare rendition in large size showcasing a hand supported by a foot. Constructed in carved blocks of wood, the sections are meticulously joined together with wood dowels. The organic curve and contoured form are instantly recognizable of the artist's design and workmanship. Signature under the feet as shown.
