Original oil pastel on archival paper of a beautiful bouquet of red and pink roses in an elegant vase. Signed lower right “Gini Toth”. Circa 1965. Titled verso. Artist name and address label verso. Condition of artwork is very good.. Antique gold frame with minor loses. Under glass. Overall framed measurements are 25.25 by 18.25 inches. Provenance: A Sarasota estate.

Genevieve Hartig Toth (American 1912-1997)
Her art has been reproduced on note paper and greeting cards by H.G. Caspari, Inc., of New York, and her paintings are hanging in many public and private collections throughout the United States. She was a charter member of the Northern Indiana Artists and the St. Joseph Watercolor Society. She was a member of miniature societies of New Jersey, Florida and Washington, D.C. She received recognition by the grant of a lifetime membership in the Whiskey Paints of America for her ''talent and ability through contributions in the arts.''
