French Art Deco Queen Size Bedroom Suite, c. 1930s
An exceptional French Art Deco bedroom suite, dating to the early 1930s and acquired in Paris before being imported to the United States. This rare and elegant set features rich wood veneers arranged in bold triangular and sunburst marquetry patterns—signature elements of the period’s geometric aesthetic.
The queen-size bed is a standout with its striking veneer work and a carved decorative panel integrated into the headboard, a nod to the high level of craftsmanship and artistry associated with the finest French ébénistes of the era.
The suite includes a matching three-door armoire with a central beveled mirror, providing excellent storage and interior shelving. Every element, from the construction to the detailing, speaks to a custom, atelier-made piece rather than a mass-produced item.
Also included is a beautifully crafted side table with a luxurious marble top, perfectly complementing the warm wood tones and architectural lines of the suite.
In excellent condition, this is a rare opportunity to own a complete, authentic Art Deco ensemble with true Parisian provenance.
