    Offered for sale is a Bertha Schaefer for Singer & Sons attributed rosewood and walnut restored headboard from the 1950s. This iconic mid-century design is a recent acquisition from an estate. It was acquired with other Singer & Sons bedroom pieces that were marked. This piece is unmarked. The headboard has been restored.
    Bertha Schaefer (1895–1971) was an American interior designer and gallery owner who created acclaimed, high-end, modern furniture for M. Singer & Sons from 1950 to 1961.
