Monumental Chinese Lacquered 8-Panel Coromandel Screen Depicting Court Scenes

Offered for sale is a monumental Chinese lacquered eight-panel Coromandel screen depicting court scenes. The screen is quite elegant in black lacquer and is incised and embellished in golds and soft tones. The back is simple with decorative carving also finished in black lacquer. The screen can be used to cover an entire wall or folded as desired as a room divider. Each panel measures 18" wide. The screen will make an impressive statement and coud be a design focal point.

There are signs of minor surface wear as shown that could be retouched at the buyer's discretion.
