Description
Walnut, brass, chest of drawers, Carlo Scarpa, Italy, circa 1965. High-end chest of drawers, the walnut veneer used is one of the most beautiful I've seen. The piece rests on bronze feet, an architectural gesture making it much lighter to the high. Also worth paying attention to is the brass lining incorporating the side panels with the top. A masterful yet simple line design.
