This exquisite lamp is an elegant conversion of a 19th-century gilded bronze candlestick, expertly mounted for modern use. The design features a tall, fluted column with refined neoclassical details, reminiscent of classical architecture and French Empire aesthetics. The base is particularly striking, resting on a beautifully cast tripod of lion’s paw feet, symbolizing strength and craftsmanship. A decorative medallion adorns the front, adding to its regal presence.

Retaining its original gilded finish, this lamp has developed a rich patina over time, enhancing the depth of its intricate ornamentation. It has been professionally electrified with a new brass socket mounted on a ball joint, allowing the lampshade to be adjusted for optimal lighting.
