Description
Bursting with botanical elegance, this exuberant Italian chandelier from the mid-20th century captures the romantic charm of nature in full bloom. Handcrafted from painted tole, the chandelier features a lush composition of scrolling vines, curling leaves, and delicate blossoms—each carefully shaped and arranged to create a sense of graceful movement and organic fullness.
Eight arms emerge fluidly from the sculptural base, each supporting a faux wax-drip candle sleeve nestled in a leafy gilt bobeche. The hand-painted foliage features soft green tones accented with warm gold and subtle touches of terracotta, lending the piece a warm, sunlit patina evocative of an Italian garden at dusk. The vertical structure extends upward with layered vines and floral sprays, adding visual height and creating a striking silhouette.
This chandelier is an ideal statement piece for interiors that embrace rustic romance, classical charm, or eclectic layering. Whether suspended in a dining room, conservatory, or grand foyer, it brings texture, color, and artistry to any space.
This is an antique and having been around for a long time, it will show signs of wear. Antique pieces have very much sought-after character and associated flaws. Please review photos for condition & contact us with questions! -
