A Victorian ormolu and cut glass dish light of exceptional quality, suspended from five elegantly scrolling supports adorned with refined classical detailing. The circular frame is richly cast with ram's heads at the junctions, joined by swags of laurel and ribbon festoons, motifs symbolic of prosperity and triumph in Neoclassical design. The finely cut glass bowl below is diamond and radial cut, beautifully refracting the light to create a gentle brilliance.
