Albano Poli for Poliarte, Rare Murano Art Glass Flush Mount Lights, 1970s
-
Description
Unique Cubist flush mount light fixtures by lighting designer and artist Albano Poli. As with most of Poli's work, functionality goes hand in hand with artistic expression. One is never traded for the other. Hand-crafted blocks of Murano glass are arranged in a frameless 3-D mosaic creating a tapestry of multi-colored light. Joined together, the blocks form a single lens that covers the steel box housing four 60-watt bulbs. Four additional exposed satellite bulbs protrude from dark amber blocks at the corners. The resulting piece is a work of art. Sold and priced separately, these fixtures will have all eyes on them and bring an element of the avant-garde to any interior they illuminate.
Two lights are available. Price and sold separately. -
