Description
This is a show-stopper pair of Art Deco lamps. The brick-red porcelain vases have been finely decorated in Art Deco Egyptian motifs. The artist has chosen various shades of green and blue combined with black together with generous layering of gold leaf to give vibrancy to what would have been a simple monochrome vases. The vases are mounted on hand-carved Chinese stands. Additionally, the lamps have retained their original custom finials. We have replaced the "insides" of the sockets and have rewired the lamps with silk-wrapped cords. These statement lamps would integrate beautifully into multiple design aesthetics--traditional to pure Art Deco to neoclassical.
