Description
This exceptionally rare five-arm chandelier was produced in Sweden in the 1950s and is attributed to Arvid Böhlmarks Lampfabrik.
The design features a five-arm body made of solid brass. The curved arms have a reeded, textured brass structure with abstract leaf details at the ends. Ringed molding accents each arm and serves as a decorative element placed above and below the oval-shaped center of the body. A tubular brass stem and brass canopy complete the design. The pleated pink fabric shades, featuring braided trim details throughout, are a later addition.
The lamp is in very good original condition. The brass has developed a natural patina, with minor wear consistent with age. The fabric shades are also in good condition. -
