This Mid-Century Modernist Crystal and Brushed Brass Pendant Chandelier by Bakalowits and Sohne originates from Austria, Circa 1960. This pendant is a well adorned and charming fixture, featuring a polished brass canopy, rod, and frame supporting and unifying the piece, the remainder is composed in a series of cut crystal elements linked to the top and bottom of the frame, precisely sized and spaced to provide a gleaming tension to the piece while refracting and diffusing light. The maker of this stunning piece is Bakalowits and Sohne, founded in Vienna in 1845 specializing in crystal production for notable locations such as palaces, public buildings, and private residences. This piece will style beautifully in a wide array of interiors and settings, from Mid-Century Modernist to Contemporary and Minimal spaces. Newly rewired to American standards and height can be adjusted to suit. In Excellent Vintage Condition.
