Attributed Barovier & Toso Chandelier, Italy, c. 1950
Sculptural chandelier attributed to Barovier & Toso featuring a rope-form hand-blown glass element surrounding a double leaf-form diffuser concealing the light source. Brass fittings and connection joints accent the composition, while the canopy is executed in a matching smaller leaf-forms bowl design. Elegant Italian modern form with a strong architectural presence.
