Beaded Murano Glass and Rock Crystal Flush Mount Chandelier

This stunning and majestic modernist chandelier was realized in Italy during the latter half of the 20th Century. It offers a hand hammered dappled oil rubbed bronze circular base with evenly spaced rectangular embellishments overlaid at perpendiculars from which beaded strands cascade downwards. These strands offer alternating cut and beveled translucent Murano glass beads; smoked volumetric rectangular pieces; and amorphic honeyed rock crystal pieces- creating a rich and dynamic variety, the strands are elegantly cinched near the nadir of the chandelier by a bronze band. With its elegant silhouette, tactile mixture of materials and clean modernist lines, this piece would be a winning addition to any style of interior from classic Mid Century to contemporary. It has been newly rewired to American standards and is in excellent vintage condition. The chandelier accommodates 3 20 w fl. Halogen reflector M R 16 bulbs.
