Description
Pair of 1960s Bruno Gatta wall or ceiling lights for Stilnovo. Executed in black painted metal with opaline glass and brass hardware. A sculptural and refined design characteristic of 1960s Italian design at its highest level. Price is for the pair. Accommodates 1x medium base 60W LED bulb (lower with incandescent) Stilnovo was one of the most innovative lighting design companies in Italy during the midcentury era. Their designs have been long sought after by collectors in the know. Literature ref. "Stilnovo: Apparecchi per L'illminazione" pub. Luminaires-Moderniste Professionally rewired for US electrical but not UL listed. Recommended UL listing available from authorized 3rd party vendor upon request for an additional fee. Please note that only one representative example of these lamps is featured in the photos. Patina and wear vary some from lamp to lamp. The glass shades on both are free of cracks and in excellent condition.
