    Extraordinary table lamp with jar-type form and virtuosic contrasting glazes by Carl Halier (1873-1948) for Royal Copenhagen, having a subtly flared cylindrical body with an angled reveal foot and a simple collar neck, in stoneware glazed in a deep brown with eggshell finish with an overflowing thick ice blue craquelure glaze, fitted with a bronze lid capped in a marvelous lotus finial / stem for the socket mount, Denmark, 1926; underside has a painted triple wave mark, artist mark, date
