Description
Dating back to 3000 bc, the Abacus is a sophisticated tool still in use today. Sliding stones across a rod, ancient Greek statesman, merchants and mathematicians were able to calculate simple and complex equations using this tool. Abacus investigates this simple and loaded gesture and allows for placement of jewel drops of brass clasped quarts, at practically any point along horizontal brass beams where warm light emanates downward. Limitless jewel links and beam additions allow creation of minimal to overly elaborate ornamental statements. Additional quarts drops available for an additional charge. Please contact sales@twentieth.net for information.
